Blogger of the Month: Maria from Lulu Letty

Lulu Letty was one of the very first fashion blogs I ever came across and I absolutely love Maria's style. I am also in love with her photos which are taken by her husband. She always finds the loveliest places to take photos, whether it be in a garden full of flowers, by a rail track or on a grassy plain.

Hope you enjoy her blog as much as I do!

1) Why did you decide to become a blogger and create Lulu Letty?
Mostly out of boredom. Once I realized that fashion blogs existed, I knew that starting one would be just what I was looking for. I think it also helped that there were already so many inspiring blogs out there. Reading them really gave me something to strive for.

2) How would you describe your style?

This is always tricky for me since I love to switch things up depending on my mood. I would say it’s vintage classic with a twist!

3) Who/What influences your sartorial style?

Pretty much everyone and everything influences my style! Other fashion bloggers inspire me most and then next would have to be old movies.

4) Do you have a favourite blogger? If so who is it and why?

That’s a tough decision. There are so many amazing blogs, but I have to say Rhiannon from Liebemarlene Vintage! She’s the first fashion blogger I ever read and she still continues to inspire me to this day with her dreamy shoots, love of Australian and New Zealand fashion and her new shop, Silent Sundays.

5) What are you favourite places to shop for your wardrobe?

Mostly thrift stores. There’s a huge Salvation Army near my place that I’m really sad to be moving away from. I always find the most amazing 90s dresses and rompers. Next, I shop on etsy and ebay and then ModCloth, Ruche, and Urban Outfitters.

6) Where do you expect to be in the next 12 months?

Well, I’ll be living in a new state (Minnesota) which I think will really change things and create unexpected experiences. I just hope to still be doing what I love and making the most out of life.
