It was pretty busy and there was a fair amount to look at but no clothes much to my dismay!
The majority of things seemed to be old bottles, antique signs, tobacco tins and miscellaneous pieces from around the home. Most things were for sale but some things were way over priced other things seemed a little under-priced.
I ended up getting a vintage set of owl salt and pepper shakers I didn’t take a photo will do that sometime this week as they are really cute. I also bought 2 old newspapers from the 1940s as I plan to cut these up and frame them. Makes a really nice wall decoration. If there is any left over I will probably sell some of the frames in my etsy shop.
Some of my favourite things of the day were the antique mantel clocks. I plan on getting one of those someday. I also liked some of the old phones, the celluloid pieces, the vintage brooches and the vintage duck figurines. My mum got some ducks and so did my aunty.
The first pic is the ducks my mum got, the second pic is the sign my mum got (the coffee one) and the third is the ducks my aunty got. I saw them before she bought them too but she just knows how to haggle a little too well!
All in all it was great fun and I definitely want to get out a lot more to go to these kind of things, preferably ones with vintage clothes!
