Interviews and Mary Poppins

Hi Friends how has your week been? This week has been crazy busy for me with working, getting over my flu and interviews! I had a little time after finishing work on Tuesday to do some shopping at Brisbane’s Direct Factory Outlet (DFO) which was awesome as I got this amazing Fossil bag for $50 off the RRP!

I have been looking for a large carpet style vintage looking bag for ages and this was it. Not that I travel but if I did this would also be a perfect little carry on as it fits so much into it.

When I saw this bag for some reason it reminded me of Mary Poppins and her huge doctors style bag and umbrella as she comes floating down from the clouds.

Another interview today and then work straight after. There is surely no rest for the wicked!

  1. The dress looks so cute on you :)

  2. That's a super cute dress. I also really like your bag. I always see them when I thrift and I would get them if I knew I'd use it. I end up buy adorable purses and then shoving my money and lip gloss in my pocket. :(

  3. Loving your blog title girly and that dress is absolutely gorgeous. I love it.

  4. You look lovely in these pictures the dress is so cute and really flattering and the bag is great! I love the pattern :) Good look with your interviews!

  5. Ooh I love it! Mary Poppins has always been up there with my favorites:) THough I have to say, your bag is much gorgeous than hers. I love the southwest inspired print on it but it still has that classic carpet bag style - perfect! Lovely as always Ilana. Best wishes with your interviews. I've been getting over a bug myself, so I know how you fun, right? Hope you are feeling 100% back to normal darling gal! xx Marisa

  6. I love your purse! You look beautiful!
