I am not one to give up on something I really truly want. But over the past year the sad realisation that I will never find work in journalism finally hit me. I mean there are like no jobs at all. Even if you were the best journalist ever it's highly unlikely you would get a job anyway- so why bother?
I have decided to focus on my Law degree again this year as it least there is some opportunity's in law. Not sure if I want to be an actual lawyer but it is still a great degree to have. I only have subjects to go as well which is nice.
I have also decided to focus more on my writing. Who cares if I can't get a job in journalism when there are plenty of other options like freelance writing, e-book writing and the like. I am hoping to start on a memoirs and an e-book this year.
I just finished watching the Best Exotic Marigold Hotel and loved this quote. I can totally relate to it: "Everything will be all right in the end and if it's not all right, then it's not yet the end!"
