Hi everyone. This week I am hosting a giveaway brought to you by Personal Planner.com.au.
Click here to visit their website and Facebook page.
Would you like to add some colour to your workday at the same time as making your planner more efficient and that more personal? If so, Personal Planner got a great idea I think you’ll love!
Their planners provide you with endless design possibilities. You can change colour, text and design on front/back cover as well as inlay. There are also clever boxes for to-do list, gym session, preschool, idea of the week and weather. Friend’s and family member’s birthdays can also be added to the inlay directly from Facebook. They print and deliver the finished product directly to our your doorstep. Here are a few things that I like about these planners:
· Design the front/back cover
· Tons of ways to design the inside to suit your style & needs.
· Add friends & family members birthdays to the inlay
· Choose between 4 different sizes
· You pick the start date.
· And best of all its fun and easy :)

What better to celebrate Australia Day than with a gorgeous lookbook from my favourite Australian label! I am totally in love with all of the pretty red hues in stock at the moment.
My favourite dress of all is the Scarlet Fever Nicola Dress (pictured left) and if I end up getting the job at Review (fingers crossed!) then this will be the first thing I am getting!
I got a call-back second interview this week and I am sooo excited! Seriously can’t imagine how amazing it would be running my “own” shop selling these amazingly beautiful Australian dresses!
This is my dream and I hope for once in my life I can make my dream a reality.
Wish me luck!
Nothing beats being a crazy cat lady except having a bunch of cute cat things!
Well you are in luck my friends as this curated cat lover list is the crème del a crème of all crazy cat lady lists ever made!
Which thing do you like the best?
Today I went for a job interview for Review which is seriously like my favourite shop ever. They have the most beautiful, feminine, vintage inspired clothing and walking into the store is like heaven. I just want to buy everything in sight as soon as I step into one of their stores which is no good for saving money!
I am really hoping it goes well as I would kill to work there and wear all of the adorable things. Will keep you all posted of course!
I decided to wear my polka dot dress with studded tights and a studded belt. I really must say I love this outfit, it is a shame that is was so hot and glary outside today so I only got one outdoors pic before running inside for the comfort of my air-conditioning.
Can’t wait for summer to be over!
Step 1: Using a regular nail/screw hammer the back of the photo frame until a hole is made. Do this all the way along with spaces.
Step 2: Once all holes are made screw in the photo hooks
Step 3: (If wanted) add additional holes with the nail for stud earrings
Step 4: Put the frame back together without the glass front (dispose of this or use in another craft project!)
Dress: c/o Rock Indigo Jacket: ShopRuche Belt: from an old skirt Shoes: Vintage via Etsy (gift from my mum)
HI everyone today I would like to introduce you to my lovely sponsor Rock Indigo. They sell the most beautiful vintage inspired (and real vintage) clothing right here in Australia!
The lovely Pauline who runs Rock Indigo sent me this 80s style dress by Many Belle’s Down to style and I decided to wear it with mixed prints and some vintage 80s shoes my mum bought me from Etsy. This is not the sort of dress I would normally wear as it is more figure hugging then anything I own but I think it looks ok- what do you think?
Also Rock Indigo is offering My Modern Vintage readers 20% discount using code: mymodernvintage20.
They are also having a giveaway which you can find here.
So be sure to get in quick to snap up some lovely dresses just in time for the summer heat! Here are my favourite things below.
These are some of my fave looks at the moment. Notice how most of them are winter looks? That’s because I hate the heat and Summer and am totally jealous looking at all the cute sweaters, boots and tights- not to mention snow!
Also notice my new blog layout? I had to remove the old one as for some reason it totally screwed up the background. I had to re-do the whole blog from scratch as something seriously went wrong with my previous blog unless it was something blogger did? Who knows – oh well now I have a pretty sequinned blog so I couldn’t be happier!

TGIF! I am so over this week already- how about you?
This week for me has had its ups and downs. I managed to get some freelance writing work which has been fun. I love learning about new things and writing of course so being paid for it is always a bonus.
I also lost 1.5 kilos and am now just a few kilos away from my goal weight so super excited about that!
The downer has been the heat! I am drenched and itching non-stop if I am not in air-conditioning. Scratching has also made me really bruised and sore and I even got a skin infection (which has cleared up now- thank you antibiotics!)
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend and be sure to check back tomorrow for my sponsor post!
Is there seriously anything more beautiful than a country, shabby chic bedroom?
One day I will have something like this- maybe when I am a rich and famous writer!
I am attempting to make my room more shabby at the moment and will be doing a sneak peak of my bedroom post soon.
